From the limited edition print by Mort Künstler. Lee, Jackson, Longstreet, and Stuart confer in the middle of a field at the beginning of the Second Manassas campaign in August, 1862. Overall size is 11" x13".
In a scene that was repeated countless times throughout the war, a Color Sergeant is struck down in the midst of rallying his unit. A Regimental Officer is hit through the thigh, and, while being supported by one of his men, he grabs the colors from the dying sergeant to bring his men in order.
